Brahmagiri

Brahmagiri was born on March 25, 2004, and was brought to FFC in December 2006 after his mother abandoned him. He suffers from hydrocephalsu and his condition makes him very fragile. Brahmagiri is shown below as he was when he arrived.

His disability has not prevented him from participating at school, and he takes part in the singing, puzzles and painting. He is a very good-natured boy with a sunny smile and an infextious giggle. The photo above shows Brahmagiri as he is now.

They were brought to us and we had the baby hospitalized the same day. They have now all recovered, and are healthy and happy. At right, Ambia age 2; Rashida, age 8;.and Shakil, age 6.

In June 2008, these three youngsters were found sitting on the street crying. Their mother had died a few days earlier and they now had nowhere to live. The baby was very ill and severely dehydrated and they were all hungry.

Swarna's Story

Swarna was born on November 24, 2007. She was abandoned and brought to us on June 28, 2008 when she was just seven months old and weighing only about 2 kgs. She was very ill and kept in the clinic at our baby home for months.

Swarna is shown above, as she was when she arrived. At right, Swarna is shown in her new hat in November, 2008. Swarna does have some delayed milestones in her life but she is catching up fast, and is crawling all over while playing with her toys. She is now able to stand.
